Your views needed on tourism in Gravesham
Visit Kent and Kent Downs AONB would like to hear what local people think of tourism in Gravesham through a short survey.
All respondents will have the opportunity to enter a draw for a chance to win a £40 food voucher to spend at a Shepherd Neame pub or restaurant of their choice.*
The survey explores perceptions of the impact that tourism has on the economy in the area, on the local community and on residents’ wellbeing.
The survey is part of the INTERREG EXPERIENCE project in which Gravesham Borough Council is a partner.
The project seeks to ensure sustainable growth of seasonal tourism across different destinations in England and France, without jeopardising the eco-systems and quality of life of local communities.
Resident feedback will be valuable to the development of the project and will help to guide us as we develop sustainable tourism products and experiences.
A survey will be issued every six months to allow for tracking of responses as the seasons change and in line with the current climate, and to benchmark the social impact that tourism has on our local communities.
This research is being conducted for Visit Kent and the Kent Downs AONB by the University of Surrey, and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund with match-funding from Gravesham Borough Council. The survey will take around 12 minutes to complete.
Participation in this survey is voluntary, and you may discontinue at any time. Any data collected will be kept strictly anonymous and confidential.
You must be 18 years or over to complete the survey.
